Now fast forward to my undergraduate years at UW-Madison. After I ran into a bit of trouble after a couple semesters pursuing information technology, I reached out to Dr. Redman for guidance. He was nothing but supportive and that phone call changed everything. I still remember where I stood when we talked.  After a change in courses and graduation from UW-Madison, I was on my way to the OSU College of Optometry. 

Once an optometrist, I spent about the first twelve years of my career working in various eye clinics. While these were valuable experiences, I felt the call to private practice. Private practice seemed to be where personal service reigns and clients aren't just numbers. I witnessed how people often perceived glasses negatively, and I wanted to change that narrative—helping them embrace their eyewear instead. This drive led me to launch Rib Mountain Eye Care in April 2016, where our mission is to help individuals find joy in their vision and look great in their glasses year after year while continuing to innovate in eye care.
